on june 20, a delegation of thailand’s national security council (nsc) visited the center for international security and strategy (ciss) of tsinghua university. both parties engaged in discussions on such topics as the security situation in the asia-pacific region, us-thai military relations, china-us technological rivalry, and china-thai cybersecurity cooperation.
members of the visiting delegation included rutchakorn napapornpipat, deputy secretary-general of the nsc of thailand; sinchai caravu, acting director of the institute of security studies; and program and policy analysts sunanta pamela ward, rattiyakorn klaigun, and korawan rattanasiridamri. chinese experts present included da wei, director of ciss; an gang, non-resident fellow of ciss; song qingrun, professor of the school of asian studies at beijing foreign studies university; and song bo, fellow of ciss. experts from the global governance institution accompanied the thai delegates during their visit.
