on the afternoon of june 13, the center for international security and strategy (ciss) of tsinghua university and the institute for taiwan studies of tsinghua university co-organized the 84th security and strategy seminar on “china-eu relations and european trends toward taiwan.” the seminar was moderated by professor da wei, director of ciss, where the experts exchanged views on european perception and narrative of the taiwan question, taiwan-related affairs in europe, and the future us-eu linkage.
the seminar was joined by zhou hong, member of the chinese academy of social sciences (cass) and former director of the institute of european studies of cass; wu yongping, director of the institute for taiwan studies and professor of the school of public policy & management at tsinghua university; cui hongjian, professor of the academy of regional and global governance at beijing foreign studies university (bfsu); wang hongyu, director of the centre for economic diplomacy and professor of the school of international relations at the university of international business and economics; li wenhong, professor of the school of german studies at bfsu; zhong houtao, associate professor of the school of national security at the university of international relations; zhu guilan and wu weixu, assistant research fellows of the institute for taiwan studies at tsinghua university; and sun chenghao and shi yan, fellows of ciss.
